Producers and longtime collaborators Peter Warren-Smith and Anthony Norris reunite to add a new dimension to the space-dub continuum.
STV is a study in low-end theory combining dub tracks that draw strength from modern jazz fusion, Afro/Jamaican rhythm styles and ambient electronics.

"Smashing Preconceptions" by Stereo Volvo is a Space-Dub instrumental album with a big arsenal. It combines Jazz, Afro -Jamaican, Dub, Ambient, Drum N' Bass and much more. It is well produced with tight beats, spacy sounds and very cool muted trumpet work. There is a constant mysticism to this album and it is floaty, but organic at the same time. Highlights include "Phoenix" (Wig-Out), which is a definite journey of a track with a grounded rhythm section and guitar and trumpet eerily talking to one another. "Gunya" is more up-tempo featuring the signature trumpet with a bowed-string sounding guitar coming at you. Pick this up if you like beats and ambience.
