What began as a desire to play music has grown into a musical career for the band, Sterio. It was the union of a group of brothers and cousins from Belize, Central America, that gave the band their initial start in 1977. The Chicago based quintet has many accomplishments to its credit, including: being selected Chicago's "Most Versatile Band" at the annual Reggae Music Awards, performed at many venues from Belize, Central America to North America.
In 1984 recorded the EP "Moonlight" which included their hit single "Precious Love" Sterio captivates their audiences with an "International" blend of Reggae, Soca, Funk, R&B and World Beat. One of the longest serving Reggae bands in Chicago, Sterio is still performing with lots of energy and excitement, with a fresh sound and a style of their own. Their music is guaranteed to get you movin' in the New Millennium. The vibe will take you on a musical journey of love, and good feelings. Their music is your passport to a musical cruise.
