"East of the River" is the new CD by Nina Stern and Daphna Mor- internationally renowned recorder players, who have appeared playing as a duo with groups as varied as The New York Philharmonic and Pharaoh's Daughter. As artists who comfortably switch from concert halls to summer festivals and New York City clubs- they bring their rich experience and diversity to this CD.

In this recording they collaborate with musicians Including virtuoso bassist Omer Avital,"Sway Machinery" percussionist Tomer Tzur, and versatile "Cardamom Quartet" accordionist Uri Sharlin

The Music of this new album “East of the River” comes from The Balkans, Armenia, and Medieval Italy. Arranged and interpreted by the musicians.
Spiritual and haunting on one. virtuosic and energetic on the other. This CD will take you on a journey!

Co produced with world music producer Jamshied Sharifi, who has collaborated with esteemed musicians such as Hassan Hakmoun and Yungchen Lhamo.
