Songs for the Wild was another breakout production by Stevan Pasero. This CD followed his first original CD called Seasons, yet it is much spicier, fiery and showcases his fluent Latin-flamenco chops. Joined by his best friend and counterpart, percussionist Christopher Bock, this CD is exciting, yet melodic, percussive, yet richly harmonic. Fans that have followed Stevan’s impressive career are constantly amazed and energized by his versatility, technique and his compositional/improvisational skills. Stevan’s artistic career spans classical, jazz, world and Latin styles. This collection of work was aired extensively on major radio stations across the country and also supported a rigorous touring schedule with his sextet featuring keyboardist Michael Becker, bassists Kai Eckhardt and Dennis Harper, saxophonist Zach Johnson, oboist Dana Bauer and,, of course one of the truly great percussion players, Christopher Bock.
