"Treasure" is the second CD by Steve Dreher and Friends, a group of teachers who love to play music. The group has continued their commitment to good music, clever, silly and sing-able songs and a genuine sense of fun. After three years of playing shows and having fun with the audiences, the group's leader, Steve, had lots of material to work with including peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, puddles, frogs, bikes, possums and bulldozers. The music is energetic for kids but varied enough that it never becomes monotonous for adults on the long car rides. Steve and Friends play rock and roll, ska and bluegrass, to name a few. It's quite clear that this group really cares about the music they create, while at the same time never taking themselves too seriously. This is a great CD for kids of every age - enjoy it!

I saw them at the 2007 Keene Pumpkin Festival and had "look at me on my bike" stuck in my head all the way home to Seattle. Luckily I found CD Baby (great service, btw) and now Treasure Buried in my Backyard is part of my daily hourlong commute!

So good I bought it as a gift

This CD was bought as a baby gift. The mother loves it, the dad loves it, too soon to know if the baby loves it. This CD is so good that I give it away.

We saw them play at the 2005 Keene Pumpkin Festival in NH and my 3 year old son was mesmerized. I bought one CD at the festival and it hasn't been taken out of our CD player yet. I'm getting the other CD today and I hope there are more to come. Every song has cute and catchy lyrics and the music is excellent!
