Album Notes

I was honored to be asked to give a graduation commencement address this year(2007). Inspired by the energy and optimism of the graduates, I wrote a song for the occasion. The result is "The Graduation Song," subtitled "Hello World!" I honestly hope that this song will mean something to graduates in 2007, but also to graduates in future years as they leave the cocoon of school and enter the world. It's a bit of a departure from my usual kid's music, but not really, because it's all about embracing and celebrating the wonder of the world.

This is a cool song!  I came across it by accident (googling for graduation songs), but I kind of wish I had kids, because I like Steve's style and lyrics and I'd buy his two CD's if I had kids to listen to them...I might just buy them anyway!  Nice job, glad I downloaded this tune!
