Album Notes

20th Anniversary re-issue brings this Steve Einhorn classic for the first time to CD. Originally put out by Kicking Mule in 1983, this collection of contemporary songs reflects the guitar-pickin' life of Northwest folk singer, Steve Einhorn with themes of life, home, the many faces of love and moving on. Played with a seminal cross section of A-list west coast musicians including Darol Anger on fiddle, Mike Marshall on mandolin, Hot Tuna's Will Scarlett on harmonica, Barbara Higbie on piano, Danny Carnahan on vocal harmony and Chris Caswell on accordions.

A memorable selection of songs by great songwriters of our time including "Catfish John" Bob McDill & Allen Reynolds, "Killin' the Blues" Roly Salley, Pancho & Lefty by Townes Van Zandt, "West Virginia My Home" by Hazel Dickens, "Timberbound" by John & Kim Cunick, Brendan Smith's "Sweet Lies" and "Willow & Lily" and "Adventures of an Invisible Dog" and "A Smile and a Tear" by Alan Wachs.
