Album Notes

This is Steve's 2nd CD. It features Robert Cray's drummer and keyboard player (Kevin Hayes and Jimmy Pugh, respectively). Steve's long-time bass player and fellow Michiganian, Don Bassey, keeps the groove heavy so Steve can lay down some incredible blues-guitar licks on his 1956 Fender Strat! There's some nice slide work on here as well! There are 10 originals and 2 covers on this recording. Steve was Joe Cocker's lead-guitar player for the House of Blues' 1996 Barnburner Tour. After hearing this recording, you'll know why he got the gig!

REVIEWS

up-tempo, hot blues-rock
author: R Bellamy
This is good-rockin' blues at it's finest. After the first 3 cuts, you'll be hooked. "Vodka, Beer, Wine and Whiskey" is one of my all-time favorite songs. If you like blues-rock with great guitar solos, buy this CD; you won't be disappointed.
