Album Notes

Hi!--My name is Steve Jansen. I have been writing songs seriously for about fifteen years now in a variety of styles (country, pop, blues, rock. etc.) For my first CD, I've compiled a blend of traditional and modern country mixed with some light adult contemporary music. Some of them are just "fun", most of them have a moving message of some sort about relationships, kids, or just life in general.

I have been a member of Songwriters Of Wisconsin for about ten years, and have won about three dozen awards in the annual contests. I'm proud to say that nine of the songs on this CD have won awards, and three of them have won multiple awards.

This album would not be possible without the talents of my cowriters Melissa Klubertanz (who cowrote, performed and recorded seven of the songs on this album), Sara Smith, Sandra Merrill, and last, but not least, John Paynter, who not only cowrote two of the songs, but also mixed and put together the album, and also did a heck of a good job on the album graphics and artwork.
I also want to thank Jason and Beda Adams and Pitch-a-Hit (Verona, Pa.), and Sal Rainone and Songwriters Workshop (Las Vegas, Nv.) for their vocal and musical contributions.
