Album Notes

I was fortunate- my youngest years were enriched by family members and close family friends who guided me into this sublime world of music from before the time I learned to speak. I have "studied" and absorbed music from a wide variety of genres all my life. During the period from 1990 through 2007 I was the sole in-house performer at an upscale New York style hotel in the center of Cape May, NJ, playing for young and old in a comfortable sitting room setting...the joy of sharing 1960s music with the elderly and 1930s music with the young, was inspiring and deeply satisfying. This is my first recording of five. It was accomplished in one seating, with the sunlight dancing on leaves beyond the window, and a good friend expertly monitoring the recording levels. The Steinway sound is beautiful. We have sold many copies of Ivory Moon through the years - it appeals to all ages and all nationalities - the music is what matters - it speaks of the love and depth of humanity and life itself.
