ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Steve began his study of guitar in Auburn, New York at the age of seven.
Steve’s father, a boilermaker by trade, was there on a four month job and
the family moved there until it was finished. On completion of the job, the
family returned home to Missouri and Steve continued to study and hone his
skills. By the time he was 15, he was passing on his knowledge of the in-
strument to his own students and had started performing in small clubs in
the Midwest.

Several bands later, Steve was accepted to Berklee College of Music in Bos-
ton. After graduating with a BS in Professional Music, he returned home
again, this time with a band he had recorded with while in Boston. After
two months of rehearsals, the group relocated to New Jersey and began
showcasing their talents to record labels and management companies. After
several “close calls” with success, the band called it quits. Steve continued
to perform with a multitude of talented East Coast musicians, opening for
national acts such as: Blue Oyster Cult, White Lion, Cheap Trick, Night
Ranger, Wynona, Rick Derringer, RTZ (featuring Brad Delp of BOSTON)
and Ace Frehley of KISS.

Focusing on his songwriting, Steve began performing more and more
shows acoustically. It was during this time that he received a job offer that
would bring him back to Missouri. A local radio station was looking for
someone to host a morning show . Steve would host the broadcast in the
morning and perform at night and on weekends. Although enjoyable, radio
was still just something that he did when he wasn’t playing music. When the
station changed ownership, Steve decided that it was time to perform again
on a full time basis.

Steve has performed and recorded with artist such as: TM Stevens, ( Joe
Cocker, The Pretenders), Bernie Worrell (P-Funk), Stephanie Eulinberg
(Kid Rock), Will Calhoun (Living Color), Al Pitrelli (Alice Cooper) and
many other talented musicians that have taught him so much.

Awesome CD!
Great find. Steve sings about what's important in life...family, friends and living life. A must have in your CD collection if you love rock, country or anything in between.
