But his logical, left-brained crime-solving skills are useless in the intuitive, non-linear world of Zen, and he finds himself drawn into a deeper, stranger, more personal mystery... the mystery of death itself.

STEVEN CHESNE's brilliant and beautiful score blends the hip, jazzy sounds of traditional Film Noir with the exotic sounds and rhythms of the Far East to take us on an extraordinary musical journey. Like the film itself, the music of ZEN NOIR transcends any one style, creating a wholly original sound. Playful, mysterious, and hauntingly beautiful, the music penetrates deep into the psyche to take the listener on a powerful and emotionally satisfying journey of the spirit.

STEVEN CHESNE's career has spanned symphonic, historical and world music, as well as music for film and television. He has composed the scores for over 300 episodes of primetime network television, and has scored 17 theatrical films, including "Debating Robert Lee," "The Trip" and "No Turning Back."
