This audio program is an application of medical hypnosis for individuals that are dealing with ALS, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (often called Lou Gehrig's disease). My friend and colleague, Dr. Andrew Weil, states that, "In general, I believe that no condition is out of bounds for trying hypnotherapy on." This CD guides you into a relaxed state of trance and offers hypnotic suggestions for healing and comfort. Although, a "cure" for this degenerative neuromusclular disease has not be discovered yet, that should not stop us from using any and all resources available to us for healing. Hypnosis is the royal road to the subconscious mind, which I consider to be the "mind of the body."
