"This is Steven Mark's most mature and diverse effort, featuring songs that are both infectiously engrossing and lyrically in-depth."
-ObscureSound.com
"Steven Mark has a way with a line, and he comes off pointed and witty. He deserves to stand along side of other singer/songwriters of similar skill such as Ryan Adams, Damien Rice, David Gray and Grant Lee Phillips."
-EvolutionOfMedia.com
"Steven Mark makes us share in his moments. What's more, he does he does it so beautifully and simply that it becomes impossible to not care deeply. It's that deeply personal element that separates the likes of Steven Mark from the herd. It surely won't be long before he's being mentioned in the same breath as Rufus Wainwright and Co."

Excellent adult rock CD!
author: Manny Vacchiano
Steven Mark’s “Racing Grey” is an energetic collection of adult rock hits! Immediately stealing the limelight is Steven’s effortless, smooth, and uniquely toned vocals and excellent songwriting. “Numb Yourself Inside” kicks off with a beautiful piano intro, and quickly crosses into the adult alternative arena with the introduction of enticing electric guitar riffs. “So Look Away” shifts vibes a little, flaunting an alluring acoustic composition backed by the lovely cello. Lyrically, “Racing Grey” deals with personal quests and contemporary issues in-depth, and sometimes with a bit of wit. For instance, “Paris Hilton Generation” shows this lyrical precision and contemporary relevance. What’s more, this CD exhibits masterful musicianship and is produced with great skill! Lovers of intriguing and thoughtful adult rock artists such as Elvis Costello won’t be able to turn this one off!
