Album Notes

Hi I am Steven Odden. Let me Tell you about the CD Poems of the Moon Sky and Sea.

"Poems of the Moon, the Sky and the Sea" is a romantic tale about the relationship between the moon, the sky and the sea, set to beautiful ethereal music using authentic Japanese instruments.

The moon is a woman - beautiful, far away, and full of mystery.
The sky is a vast emptiness that embraces the moon.
The sea is the jealous third person below the moon and sky - filled with anger, jealousy and sadness.

The moon and sky become lovers, and this angers the sea.
The sea tries to seduce the moon and kill it as it is reflected in the nightly waters.
After a long struggle, the sky wins the moon's affections, and calls it back.
