Album Notes

Since it's release in fall 2003, From Here to Nashville has done surprisingly well. With airplay on several BC and Alberta radio stations, mainly COOP and Campus, the debut disc has received a warm welcome. Lionel Rault (LIONEL'S VINYLS-CKUA Radio)- dubbed the CD's first track, Rollin' Down To Memphis, "THE FINEST PIECE OF AMERICANA TO CROSS MY DESK FROM ANY DIRECTION".

The disc has also proved popular with many Folk and Country fans alike, (the Mother Trucker song is a particular favourite with local truckers), often riding in car, mini-van, and truck CD players.

Sales have been strong for an independent release, actually recovering production costs and allowing Steve Palmer to finance a second disc, with a more acoustic 'Rootsy' slant, for release fall 2005.

FROM HERE TO NASHVILLE has stayed glued into my CD player ever since I got my hands on it! I love it to bits! The CD features deep articulate lyrics, masterful guitar playing, and flows along along like a lazy southern river. Also, some awesome musicians on this CD. Great job Steve!
