song. Steve’s songs have been gaining airplay and recognition in the Americana and Contemporary folk communities for his unusual approach to both time worn and current subjects. His often powerful and humorous songs and stories create a vivid look at life’s underbelly, and reveal some important lessons along the way.

I like the stories in the songs (I'm a sucker for a story song) band sounds great! your voice has a very appealing smokiness to it. I know I wasn't supposed to talk about the artist but I just to mention that. The CD was very I good I was dissapointed I couldn't hear the whole song ( but that's the point) SOUNDS GREAT!!!!

Steve's songs bring smiles to your face and his voice is all his own. So many musicians, sometimes unknowingly, try to sound like somebody else. Steve's guitar work is solid, if unspectacular. He knows just how to give it the right touch in an accompanying role. "Singer/songwriter" says it all. The guy is really good. We're fortunate to have him here in the Potter County hills. Perhaps he could open someday for the gospel greats, the Dildine Trio (www.dildinegospeltrio.com).
