Invoking an array of moods, the dark yet optimistic and poignant lyricism, blended with beautifully rich organic guitar playing over electro-ambient soundscapes, make "Exile" the work of a true 21st century minstrel.

Album Notes

"We've been spinning Steve's demos and the phones ring...say's it all really"

Nic Harcourt-Music Director & Host "Morning Becomes Eclectic"
KCRW Los Angeles

"Exile is an impressive debut from a well-rounded musician."
Performing Songwriter Magazine

"Reynolds truly runs the gamut on Exile, ranging from the windswept, open wounds of Static - a song that can't help but evoke the best of Springsteen's Nebraska - to a good old-fashioned love song on Satellite. Exile is a rich, moody blend of Reynolds' honest songwriting style and Larivee six-string with the deft accompaniment of mandolin, lapsteel, dobro, accordion and skins. His first solo CD, Exile - a true-blue collection of standout roots rock tunes in the vein of Ryan Adams, Neil Young and Bob Dylan - is finding a fast home on the airwaves of Los Angeles, where Reynolds now calls home".

Really Love this album. It's been in my car for a week and hasn't tired me out yet, just grows on me more and more. Would love to see Steve play live in the Okanagan some day-- it's been way too long since I've seen anyone great play live.
