Award-winning Christian singer, songwriter and recording artist Steve Reeves has been writing and performing original music for more than 30 years. Reeves is best known for his ballads, often accompanied by piano or guitar, which tell heart-warming and inspirational stories from the "chapters of life".
Among some 55 popular songs, Steve has written more than 35 Christian ballads since 1975 and, in 1999, committed to recording those songs so that they could be more widely shared. His first album, "Rain On Steaming Pavement" won the 2007 International Angel Award. "Parables & Promises" is his fourth Christian CD release.
Among Steve's most requested songs are "The Ballad of Miss Lilly", "It's The One", "Bearers of the Promise", "Soft, Sure Voice", "Give up Your Burden" and "He Is There". These and other of Reeves' original ballads are featured on his 2005/2006 debut album release, "Rain On Steaming Pavement", his Christmas CD "Baby King", his 2007 release of the "Road To Nineva" album, and this 2008 release of the much anticipated "Parables & Promises" album.
Steve lives near Paradise, California with his wife, Lee Ann, where they operate businesses which serve several Northern California & national communities. The Reeves also work with and in support of Manna Records, and are active in the formation, funding and ongoing empowerment of the Samaritan Light Foundation.
Steve travels on concert tours 2-3 times per year, sharing his music with interdenominational groups of fellow Christians around the world.
