Album Notes

STEVE STEPPA , the artist formerly known as "Sayan", is back with the first self-release under his new artist name. This CD features 18 tracks with six of them from two top-notch European producers of exceptional reggae dub/instrumental. Though they've never met in person, the musical vibes transcend physical distances. EL BIB from the U.K , is a true dub-master and has produced for MAX ROMEO and now with the wonders of modern technology, was able to mix STEVE STEPPA via wav-files through the internet. FLOW PRODUCTION is a one-man roots reggae section from Switzerland. His versatility in various styles of reggae with jazz and soul influences and his live-sounding horn sections make him a true dub pioneer. The result of this, STEVE STEPPA and these two reggae-riddim veterans makes for a CD that's a sonic treat and a timeless classic for those lovers of vintage reggae sounds where deejays toasted over instrumental dubplates.
This CD should receive positive reviews by any and all who truly, truly love the classic reggae sound and the dub-instrumentals from Jamaica's golden era, considered by most to be the mid 1970's to the late 80's. Since most tracks here have streaming access, you can decide for yourself, and if you feel the vibes, you can get 18 crucial reggae songs for a very reasonable price.
