This is how the people are doing it!

I gave this album 5 stars for a few reasons. First of all, everybody's always talking about keeping it real. Well, these cats are producing their own tracks, distributing it all independently through their own Four Element Fundamentalists (FEF) Recordings imprint with their own cash and doing local shows to promote. All I had to do was listen to the tracks on this cd to find all this out. They give plenty of insight into what it takes to make it all happen if you got that inner drive. Anyone familiar with the sp12, mpc and asr samplers will appreciate the way these cat use their machines the get the job done in a serious fashion. Add some introspective lyrics courtesy of EgoED and Kove One, the ginsu collection of DJ Cenik and you've got yourself The Greatest That Never Made It. Grass roots hip hop at its best.

"The Greatest That never made It" is spilling over with raw talent. This CD has some of the illest drum beats I've heard in a while. Combine that with the top notch lyricism and grade A quality cuts and scratches and you got one dope Hiphop release. Kove, Ego & Cenik definitly hold it down for the B-peeps on this one, and the guest vocals of Kris Harlow gives you one more reason not to sleep on this.
