Album Notes

Kelly Mulhollan and Donna Stjerna of Still on the Hill have been performing as a duo for over a year now and have proven to be stronger and more dynamic than ever! The term 'less is more' works for the new duo configuration. At live performances they still love playing favorites from the quartet days such as The Ballad of the Landlord (words by Langston Hughes), The Cuckoo, and Round Barn, and audiences have been asking for recorded versions of those favorites by the duo.

WFMT Studio in Chicago has the best acoustic sound stage in the country and Rich Warren, DJ from the Folk Stage there, agreed to have them record this LIVE CD before a special LIVE audience. If you close your eyes you can actually feel like you are at the concert, riding that rollercoaster of highs and lows, thrills and spills, squeals and tears. Sit back and enjoy the ride, Still on the Hill-LIVE
