Album Notes

It has been over two years since this talented trio recorded their first EP - they were 10 years old at the time. Still Pending's sophomore release showcases the band's commitment to their craft, as well as their continued musical maturation. Reed (age 13 - lead guitar), Grant (age 13 - drums), and Andrew (age 12 - bass), who are often likened to a young Green Day, wrote, produced and recorded Graffiti entirely on their own - a monumental effort for any band, let alone 12 and 13 year-olds. Graffiti contains newly-arranged versions of 4 of their earlier songs, along with 7 previously unrecorded originals. While the band is often compared to other young groups such as the Jonas Brothers, and their music appeals to this demographic, the parallels end there. Still Pending shudders when compared to what they consider the "over-produced" and commercialized product being pushed out of the big studios. These guys are all about being true to the music. The band's originals throw nods to their older rock influences which include Green Day, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2 and Zeppelin, as well as newer bands such as Foo Fighters, Sick Puppies and The Killers. Still Pending combines solid, driving rock hooks with melodic vocal harmonies to create a fresh, young sound that has cross-over appeal. Just check out some of their live performance videos on YouTube and you'll see that these guys are the real deal. Graffiti is a fitting tribute to what these young artists have accomplished in over three years as a working band. Take a listen and you will not be disappointed.

I can't believe these guys can write and PLAY songs like this and they are only 12 and 13!!! I thought they were amazing at 10 but the growth in their music is incredible. I love Argus...such a new sound for these guys... My all time favorite is still Stop Spinning and the new ending rocks. There really isn't a song on this CD that I don't like. I can't wait to see where these guys are in three more years! 5 STARS!!!!!

I have been waiting for a while now and this CD has not let me down. I got it in the mail and ran down to my "studio" (or basement) and played it through the 7.1 surround. It sounds very awesome on my system and sounds great on normal stereo. If your even thinking about buying this CD do it. Its so darn cheap at 10 bucks that I would buy it over any other CD. I just wish they included Airplane and concert tickets to the release party :P

The quality of the songwriting and production on this CD are so high, that I'm not sure I really believe that these kids did it all themselves. This is just tight, solid musicianship through and through. I have been in the business for many years and I honestly can't recall ever hearing anything of this caliber from a band this young. I have worked with many bands twice their age who cannot lay down tracks like these. My hat is off to these young artists. This is nothing but good news for the next generation of music. Thank you, Still Pending and good luck!
