Album Notes

Stinging Rain was Nathan Depew, Paul Fry, Jon Phillips and Brett Kendall, respectively on lead vocals/guitar, bass, drums and keyboards. Nathan Depew was the band leader and songwriter for the band which performed original material primarily in the alternative rock genre. The band was formed in 1987 and was based in Grove City, PA. Kendall replaced original keyboardist, Duane Fitzgerald, shortly after the release of their first CD, "Shadows of Reality".

Their second recording was a 6-song EP entitled "The Dream", released in 1991.

After the recording of "Face of Stephen" in 1993, the band went on an indefinite hiatus with the band members all going their separate ways. Rumors of a "reunion concert" were at one time more numerous, but they have decreased in indirect proportion to the sizes of the former members' families.

The producer for all three Stinging Rain, Dave Brown, has also produced for Rusted Root, The Gathering Field, Push, Rachel McCartney and Carol Lee Espy.
