Album Notes

Stinging Rain was Nathan Depew, Paul Fry, Jon Phillips and Brett Kendall, respectively on lead vocals/guitar, bass, drums and keyboards. Nathan Depew was the primary song-writer for the band which performed original material in the alternative rock genre. The band was formed in 1987 and was based in Grove City, PA. Kendall replaced original keyboardist, Duane Fitzgerald, shortly after the release of their first CD, "Shadows of Reality".

Their second recording was an EP entitled "The Dream", released in 1991.

After the recording of "Face of Stephen" in 1993, the band went on an indefinite hiatus with the band members all going their separate ways. Rumors of a "reunion concert" are always in the air.

The producer for all three Stinging Rain recordings was Dave Brown, who has also produced for Rusted Root, The Gathering Field, Push, Rachel McCartney and Carol Lee Espy.
