Stinky Bottom/'All You Need Is Weed'
First,of course, there's the ridiculous name, (though, easily explained). Abandoned at birth, left on the back doorstep of the Home For Tiny Travelers, (an orphanage run by nuns--and a few, deviate priests--on the outskirts of Boston), Stinky quickly earned his name when Sister Mary-Marie discovered him, made a face, held her nose and proclaimed to the other nuns: "Pewee! This kid's got one stinky bottom!" Yes, it was that simple.... Early on, it was painfully clear that little Stinky was not a happy camper. He quickly grew to hate the orphanage, the nuns...his life... This was reflected by some of his earlier songs with titles like: 'My Shitty Life', "Sister Slut', 'Molested By Monsignor', 'Poked In The Ass By The Man In The Mask', and so on... The turning point in Stinky's life came later one afternoon in the orphanage playground when he noticed Sister Mary-Marie sharing a joint with some other nuns. When they left he found the discarded roach, fired it up and--instantly--fell in love. "From that point on," says Stinky, with a big, irie smile, "my life got way batter!" This certainly seems to be the case with Stinky's debut cd, 'All You Need Is Weed', which is chocked full of positive vibes. There are dream songs, a car song and a bunch of love songs in all shapes and sizes done in a variety of styles by Stinky and his stellar backing band, '420', (with stirring backing vocals by, 'The Irie Girls')....For example, check out the steel drums and celibrate the universe on, 'In The Stars'.
