Tom Stinson, a Roots singer/songwriter and Fingerstyle guitarist whose songs have been described as a "musical journey" and his instrumentals as "an awesome display of acoustic guitar mastery", has released his second
album titled "A Search for Peace". Selections of "A Search for Peace" have been reviewed and received great praise. This album is a journey from some darker reflections on life and the world to those things in life that provide the peace that we need to survive. It begins with songs about urbanization and the loses that some rural communities feel because of this social trend. A Search For Peace then moves to the subjects of war, homelessness and the grief of losing a friend but then turns around with songs about love, family and the peace that these provide no matter what else is going on in the world. All of these songs are interspersed with guitar instrumentals to provide a relaxing flow.
