StitchCraft charting new territory and turning heads as they take their eclectic sounds and rhythms to new levels.

StitchCraft is a musical duo with Heather Normandale on guitar and mandolin and Anna Perlmutter on fiddle.

Originally from Sarasota, Florida, these musicians currently reside in San Francisco, California, expanding their lineup and repertoire and charting new territory yet still holding onto their Florida roots.

Combining guitar, mandolin, fiddle, accordion, spontaneous percussion, and weaving vocals, the group's enchanting sounds cover a varied spectrum of influences into a whole new and as yet unnamed genre.

Through their lulling songstress counterpoint and captivating parables, their colorful poetry pulls in a wide range of audiences and reveals the connections they spark in each other on stage.

I love this c.d. I heard this duo at Fairchild Garden in Miami Florida and have been looking for them since then. I bought the c.d. and played it until it started to skip. I am so glad I have found you again. Keep cranking out these great sounds and harmony that touch the soul.

Lovely lyrics, vocal strings. The first song fills me with joyful eagerness and the rest of the album fulfills that feeling.

Met Heather and Anna at their friend's wedding where they provided atmospheric accompaniment to the ceremony. Their tunes pulled all the parts of the event together so nicely. Like a dunce I asked if they played together often. . .then they told me about their duo. Jonatha Brooke and Jennifer Kimball can eat their own hearts out because Stitchcraft leaves all those earlier duos in their wake. Amy and Emily? Mere amateurs by comparison. Can't wait to hear what they come up with next!

One of the great surprise albums of my life so far. Unbelievably well done music giving away these gals' love with what they do. Their range is highlighted in the contrasting tango-spice of Sophia and ballad-sweet of The Sea Is My Man. Other highlights are the opener, Wake Up (rhythmic harmonic poetry), and Over You, but there's not a bad piece on the album.
