Album Notes

One night Stoan E Pickens was sitting around the studio talking with some other musicians and discussing what everyone thought about doing an all original CD with just Virginia City musicians. There are so many wonderful musicians on the mountain and every one thought that that would be a great idea. So a call went out for original music and he was inundated with people excited about doing this. We bring to you a variety of music, everyone on this Cd has brought their own brand of music, It is normally very difficult getting so many working musicians together in one place, but they all made the exception for him in order to be on this project.
We hope that you enjoy listening to this as much as we had fun bringing it to you.

Every guy has flipped over a girl like Baby Blue; never heard a tango about plutonium half-life; love the use of major 7ths in Sun Sets On The Stage; Lazy Lover - that's my brother. I just like to hear what's out there...to know what other writers and players are coming up with and what they are saying in their songs. This is one of those.

I saw a review of this album in a news paper and it said that all these songs/artists were great and the songs appropriate and straight to the heart. I hope to hear more of all of them.
