Album Notes

STOKE recorded their self-titled debut album in 2000, and released it in early 2001. Lauded by 'Unrestrained' magazine as 'skilled musicians who can rock out like there's no tomorrow,' the three-piece outfit logged numerous live shows.

The band’s second album, ‘Willingdon Black,’ is a mix of hard rock riffing and dark grooves.

The name 'STOKE' comes from an old Brian Wilson instrumental. As for the STOKE sound, it's a bit like a Cuban hotrod. Built on a classic chassis, but modified with parts picked up from a range of hard rock influences.
