It was the night before Thanksgiving 1980 and The Stompers went in the studio to cut "All I Want For Xmas..."
The song debuted on WBCN the Friday after Thanksgiving. Man, those were the days!!
The song had been carted up and delivered. The rest is, as they say, history.
Heavy play on all radio stations in the Boston area along with a Christmas tour supporting The J. Geils Band ended the year on a high note and was a great start to 1981.

The song is a big fan favorite and the only way to own a copy of the song was to go on eBay and try to find the limited vinyl release.
