Album Notes

Made at home in Colin's living room over a couple weekends: Anywhere West is a year or so worth of new tunes written by and for a group of guys who just love playing together. No dreams of grandeur, no delusions of fame. The fans love what they do, and so does the band. A bunch of these tracks are "as was" with a little editing. Scratch vocals became keeper vocals, take 3 or 4 was often the one we went with, though with Whiskey Blues, I Put My Foot In It, and Scattered we were on take 1 or 2. The title cut was written mostly by Roy. Colin added the signature guitar lick, a few verse tweaks and the "I'm leaving Omaha (thru) Anywhere West"section of the chorus. When you are done with American Idol, try the Roosters.
