Album Notes
There's a lot more music happining in Nashville than country. STONECROSSING is makin' waves in Music City...
STONECROSSING is a new musical movement that started when six people from all walks of life met in a small dark room and discovered that they all had the same dream and goal in mind; to share in music, tell their story, and bring back the joy they once had through their talents together; not as individuals, but together as unit (stone). With all their different influences ranging from rock, blues, hip-hop, funk, and country a unique blend (crossing) of sound was created. Marie 'Gypsy' the 'southern belle', with her country influences. Shane 'Boogie', the hippie, brings the funk and hip-hop sound. Paul 'Casper' gives us a jazz influence. Pedro 'The Chef' introduces a reggae beat to the band. Terry Green 'Hobbit' brings with him classical and R&B influences. Rob 'Crow', who loves all life forms of rock music. This made it easy to envision a project that would allow STONECROSSING to release a new sound and album to the world, in hopes that everyone will find something they like and connect to; much like the band have connected to each other. We hope you like the album.

Great Vibe!!
I saw this band at Graham Central Station on Sept. 1st. Great sound and mix of style. Very down to earth folks with a great sound. I look forward to hearing more from them in the future. This band has a great live sound. I think they could tone down some of the "Make it big" rhetoric though.

Great, different rock
Great rock music that can't be pigeon-holed. Love it, and similarly everyone who hears it down here in Australia asks about it. Looking forward to the next album.

I am avid live music and concert goer, I gotta tell you this is by far one of the best and most original sounds that I have heard in a very long time. How these guys aren't backed by a major label yet is beyond me. Buy the CD (which is great) but you must GO SEE THEM LIVE! It will be worth the trip!! You should go soon it won't be long before they are charging $100 a ticket for the nose bleed section. It's an all around great high energy show. I can't wait to plug these guys with a couple of my local radio stations.

Simply The Best!!
I Love Stonecrossing. I have a personal tie to one of the members (CHEF) so I love the group even more because of him. I will be with them every step of the way.

Blew me away...
This band is doing something fresh and it shows in the songs on this CD. They are more than a sum of their influences. They are the real thing. The songs are ones that you hear once and they stick with you. Saw their live show last night at West's Rock and Blues Emporium and they are the same live as on the CD.

These guys are awesome!! Rob, Terry, and Marie have such amazing voices...and such a wonderful vibe on stage. I met Terry and came to a show to support them but fell in love almost instantly. I've seen many shows and met many artists in Nashville since I moved here but, few have captured me the way they do. They are great entertainers, they have great chemistry, and they're very down to earth folks. Rock on guys--you've got it...right time, right place. LuV~SaM

This is a totally new sound! I don't understand why they are not bigger than they are! Everyone in the band has a unique personality and brings great things together to make some awesome music. This is the only CD I listen to, and the only station I used to listen to was Country. Thanks guys, I love you all and good luck!

Freakin' Awesome
I love this CD! A little funky/jazzy with a touch of country. When SC makes it big, I can say I loved them when they were just getting started. I haven't seen them in concert yet, but I hope to soon. Good luck y'all!

One of the Greatest CD out of Nashville in recent years.
Saw this band in concert at Graham Central Station, Nashville on April 30th. The CD is every bit as great as the live performance. This is just the first in what I hope will be a long string of releases. And this, coming from a country fan.

Those who have the CD, check out the list of guest artists. A few suprises there.
