Storm Seymour is an enrolled member of the Meskwaki Indian Nation of Iowa, (A.K.A. Sac & Fox). His Great-great grandfather; Pushetonequa was the last official chief of the Meskwaki tribe. Storm's music goes way beyond the borders of many genres including; rock, country, blues, gospel, bluegrass, folk, Spanish and Native American music.
He has performed 3 times on the Ryman Auditorium stage in Nashville,Tn. and has earned a well deserved standing ovation each time.
Storm's first album yielded 3 nationally charted singles including his first #1 and top 5 which helped him earn the TOP INDEPENDENT MALE VOCALIST from CASHBOX magazine in 1990.
Overseas, Storm's singles have consistently charted higher than such artists as; George Strait, Garth Brooks, Shania Twain and Alabama, just to name a few... remember, we could not say it if it was'nt true.Q.Then why have'nt YOU heard of Storm Seymour? A.Unless an artist is on a major record label, most of the bigger radio stations in this country will not play their music. Nashville just simply missed the boat on this one.
Storm has won the "ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR" from the Nebraska Country Music Foundation for 4 years and has won many awards too numerous to mention.
We at EKKO Entertainment strongly feel that Storm Seymour is one of the most under-rated, overlooked, best kept secrets in the music industry, but don't take our word for it, listen for yourself and see why Storm Seymour IS the world's most award winning Native American country music singer in the history of music.
