Album Notes

Two tellers in one, the Story Quilters blend traditional storytelling with theatre in a style called Tandem Telling. In their first CD, B.Z. Smith & Cynthia Restivo choose 6 of their favorite tales, 4 told together. But each is also an accomplished solo teller, as you'll hear in "Rose Petal Soup" (Cyn) & "The Goblins' Child"(B.Z.).
Joining them is Bill Roberson, an extraordinary songwriter & smile-maker. The trio hales from California's beautiful Sierra Nevadas. But their small-town roots haven't stopped their fame from growing. Winners of a Parents' Choice Gold Award, a Storytelling World Honoree Award,& a Pegasus Award, the Story Quilters' work is catching on with storytelling fans across the country.
Offering tales of hope, humor, and the honesty of human experience, the Story Quilters & Bill hope to hold you in rapt attention.
