How important is family in our lives? For Pete, Phil and Tony Lewis, it’s the creative factor that delivers the emotions, optimism and diversity in each and every song. In their new Album entitled, RV Livin’, the Lewis brothers deliver their unique and musically unpredictable songs reflecting what life is really all about. For example, in the featured song, Mama’s Cookin’, the guys remind us that we all have our ups and downs in life. Sometimes things are good and sometimes there bad. And as much as we want everything to go our way all the time, sometimes it’s just not possible. You can get more out of life by paying attention and taking advantage of the positive opportunities when they come along.
Storytyme started playing together as far back as they can remember. Pots and pans in the kitchen quickly evolved into 8" distorted guitar amps in the garage... and the band was born. But bar-chord-punk-rock would not last for long...
Over the years the music has seen many changes, constantly evolving and maturing. The Lewis brothers are three very different individuals and their influences vary widely; from progressive rock bands of the 70’s such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and The Grateful Dead, to the groove oriented rock of The Dire Straights, The Doobie Brothers and J.J. Cale, to the harder edge sound of bands like Primus, AC/DC, and Sublime. What results is a completely unique style that can only be described as ...Storytyme.
After several relocations, Storytyme has landed in Boulder, CO. Since moving to Boulder in 2001, Storytyme has had many noteworthy performances at some of Colorado’s most respected venues including: The Fox Theatre, The Soiled Dove, Tulagi, and Trilogy. Also, during the summer of 2005, Storytyme played sets at the South Park Music Festival, and the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater.
With a solid fan base growing at home in the major Colorado markets of Boulder and Denver, Storytyme has also answered the call of the road. For the past year Storytyme has been touring extensively throughout the Midwest with major turnouts at shows in Iowa City, IA, Chicago, IL, Madison, WI, Okoboji, IA, and Mankato, MN.
With the completion of their third album, Comin' In Hot, Storytyme has once again raised the bar on performance and sound quality. Mixed by James Tuttle and mastered by David Glasser @ Air Show Mastering in Boulder, CO, this CD is guaranteed to rock your socks off.

Amazing Album
author: Steve B.
This album is just insane. The music is so completely different from anything else I have ever heard. Reminds me of early YES and RUSH with a harder edge. Very cool. The sound quality is also amazing...super vivid vocals and solid tracking. If you have a killer system, you can turn this up really loud and people all turn their heads...what the hell is that? WELL WORTH $10...This CD has not left my player all week. Rock on Lewis Brothers!!!

hot damn brother, talk about six great tunes. as always with the band, every single one of the tracks on comin in hot are all their own. everything keeps rockin as storytyme comes up with another disk jammed with riffs and lyrics that make you wonder not only what the hell is going on, but how three great musicians could be cut from the exact same cloth. six strings of sadness, and a hammock view of the horizon... tres hermanos have done it again
