Album Notes

Linda Stout’s new CD, “Extended Play,” features her unadorned, yet sultry singing and a brand of melodic pop that’s uptempo downtempo, with beats, and uptown and downhome, with a Robert Frost poem in a driving Appalachian setting. Another superior effort from Linda Stout
author: Keith Miles
Extended Play is another great effort from Linda Stout. EP explores a wider variety of topics and Linda uses her vocal talent to achieve a stronger effect for each song. The album is well-produced and, to my mind, very radio friendly. EP demonstrates greater overall confidence and maturity. A very solid project all the way around. Congratulations Linda!
