Album Notes

Forming out of a friendship and love of great new independent music, Stover originally were a bunch of friends who jammed original songs in R’s garage. With the addition of Dirk on Bass, a position formally held by Star, the band set out to actually make something of its music. Recording a demo CD at a studio in Wollongong the band were initially down hearted with the recording process, but after meeting with Mex from Cantamar Studio the boys had a new lease for music and for recording. With Mex taking on the role of producer and that all important third ear, Stover set out to do a 5 track EP. This grew as all things do in the studio to 7 tracks of great quality, a showcase of the bands unique and varied styles, from the genuinely silly to the deep and meaningful.

Stover is a band heading places and with an album in the pipeline for the 2006 this Experimental Project is the first taste many will have for the magic of Stover.
