A True Story

David Strattford, Audio Engineer at RelaxTRAX, has developed three audio CDs that, using beta and theta waves, cause your body to release endorphins, a morphine-like substance produced naturally in the body that can relieve pain, help you sleep, enhance our immune system, block the lesion of blood vessels, help improve your memory and have anti-aging effects by removing super oxides from your body.

David Strattford is best known for his work as a Record Producer and Recording Artist Manager for acts like The Ink Spots, Rachel Victoria, Kathryn Rushent, and many others in the US, Canada, England, Japan and Hong Kong.

What few people know is that in 1990, David nearly lost his life in an accident when he went over a 750 foot cliff in his car. His injuries were severe and he broke most everything including his neck, back, hip, and leg.

"For years after the accident I lived on pain killers like Demerol, Morphine, and Codeine," says Strattford. "I tried acupuncture and chiropractors, biofeedback and even hypnosis. At best, they gave temporary relief and most were quite expensive."

"Then one day I came across an article about Brainwave Synchronization, also known as Brainwave Entrainment. It explained that scientists had discovered they could help the human body relax, sleep and even fight pain using beta and theta waves in combination with nature sounds. Being an audio engineer, I was intrigued by this concept."

"After months of research I decided to create a recording to help relieve my own migraine headaches. The first step was to find a computer program capable of creating such a recording. Then I needed to blend the beta and theta waves with soothing nature sounds and/or music. So, I went to the island of Oahu in Hawaii and recorded the sound of the ocean, a stream, a waterfall and rain. I chose the stream, waterfall and rain sounds for the Migraine CD. The final step was to combine these nature sounds with the special frequencies and create a CD."

"Simply put, I was amazed with the results. I got relief the very first time I tried it. I put the headphones on, adjusted the volume so that it just blocked out the room sounds, I laid down, and in less than 5 minutes I was asleep. When I woke up 30 minutes later, my migraine was gone."

Based on the success of the Migraine CD, David immediately went to work on two additional CDs, one to relieve Insomnia and one for Chronic Pain relief.

At RelaxTRAX, our Migraine, Sleep and the Sounds of the Universe CDs are the latest in a series a deep relaxation CDs created by David Strattford at TRAX Studios in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The sounds for these CDs were recorded using the very latest in digital audio equipment and recording techniques.
