A secular success if she wants it.
author: Justin Peek
Courtney is too good to be this young. When I heard her live for the first time, I was upstairs in the cafe and had to go downstairs to get closer. I thought I heard her do a cover of an old 60's folk tune (maybe Joni Mitchel) but it was just a song (I can't get the name) that she was doing of her own. She had, with her master musicianship, blended peak elements from standout songs that broke out of every decade since the fifties. Her music and her VOICE is captured well on this CD (if she was sponsored by a major production outfit.....ouch) and has a universal enjoyment. Love, Jay/Justin Peek

The CD isn't perfect, but what is? At its low cost, it's a gem from an up-and-coming artist. Courtney's lyrics are thought-provoking, her melodies are catchy, and her style is unique. A good buy for those seeking out the next hot musician.
