I won't try to be something I'm not and talk the talk I'm not familiar with. By definition I should hate rap, partly because I'm not young or Afro-American, partly because I don't understand the lingo of the hood. But recently I've started paying attention to positive rap, and this CD is stunning! I hope it circulates far beyond Indiana and reaches the youth in my native Connecticut and neighboring states. There's no need to compliment the work, since Street's fans are doing it better than I could. I'll simply add that open-minded non-rappers should give it a listen before judging rap. And, incidentally, if Obama becomes President, he could use this song to great advantage for us all.
