I love Summer Bones. I have played it on snowy mornings, cool summer nights, as I fall asleep..,etc. The lovely mysterious quality takes me far far away.

-Summer Bones is a moody and darkly brooding piece of music that sets a fire to ones imagination from as early as the initial viewing of the package, and doesn’t let up until some time after the last track. Needing no accompaniment whatsoever Rick Strittmater tells an intriguing story with his lushly colorful ambient music, in a way that shows both musical expertise, and a profound grasp of storytelling. There are songwriters who use all the metaphorical posturing in their arsenal, struggling to convey their message, to no avail. Rick is not one of them. —Mondo Johnny
