I work for a small ambient label located in sunny WA. I just received Eta Draconis yesterday before I left my office...so I had a rainy evening to listen. This is a beautiful collection of material. Wow.
Not only does Strittmater create some incredible music, on Eta, he also manages to tell a story without words. This disc plays like the musical equivilant to Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury. Not understood by all, but a masterpiece to those who understand the craft.
And just like a dog-eared beloved paperback, this disc is worth the investment as you'll find yourself going back to it again and again and again.
