"Eta Draconis" represents a collection of ten years of studio work and various projects. The music is a dark, rich textural sea of organic, atmospheric soundscapes. I work for a small ambient label located in sunny WA. I just received Eta Draconis yesterday before I left my office...so I had a rainy evening to listen. This is a beautiful collection of material. The multiple audio worlds created are amazing. I would strongly recommend adding this wonderful cd to any listeners library. Ah...the jacket art art, extraordinary.

Hear that nearly sub-audible sigh? It's the sound of your psychic chi easing effortlessly back into balance. Do I jest? I think not! The Buddha came out of retirement to hear these tracks. Do yourself a favor: quit your day job and listen to this music... you won't regret it! I didn't!!

Wow. Not only does Strittmater create some incredible music, on Eta, he also manages to tell a story without words. This disc plays like the musical equivilant to Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury. Not understood by all, but a masterpiece to those who understand the craft. And just like a dog-eared beloved paperback, this disc is worth the investment as you'll find yourself going back to it again and again and again.
