"Live and Learn" - Bio
Longtime lead guitarist with Genesis and Phil Collins, Daryl's introduction has echoed through hundreds of stadiums, arenas and theaters throughout the world. His musical journeys cross five continents and his musical style and influences are as diverse as his travels.
Daryl's performances in the studio are equally impressive to those of his live touring. His guitar work can be heard on multi-platinum hits by artists such as Jean-Luc Ponty, George Duke and Phillip Bailey as well as Genesis and Phil Collins. "Live and Learn" not only confirms daryl's status as a world-class guitarist, it showcases his equally inpressive talents as a writer and producer.
Stylistically, "Live and Learn" ia hard to classify but the power and beauty of the music is easy to enjoy.

Excellent
author: White shadowAn excellent album of a wonderful guitarist, includes an instrumental version of a Phil Collins' song (you have to search for it ;) )
WOW . . . gotta be my favorite
author: Curt ChristensenI first heard this album in 2000, and found it to be the most eclectic and wonderful smooth jazz that I have ever heard. Daryl's guitar work is superb - smooth, and FAST when needed. This entire album is a ride to remember - KEEP IT COMING ! My 16 year old son rides around in his jeep with this album turned up as LOUD as he can . . Thanks
Just Perfect
author: PeterSuperb album. Great guitar work. If you like smooth jazz or Neal Schon then you will like this. Can we have more albums please!
World class music!
author: Ray JacksonThis Cd creates a feeling that has to be experienced. Words would not do justice to the tight guitar work and excellent side work.
A must for any Guitar / Genesis fan!
author: Brian BerglundThis is it! This is the first Daryl CD I ever heard and my favorite. Quite possibly my favorite CD period. Of course, we know he supported Phil Collins and Genesis for 15 years, but you don't need to be a Genesis fan to fall in love with this CD. Morning Train and American Fields are truely great works of masterful guitar playing. More along the lines of jazz, lite rock or easy listening; however even a heavy metal fan will enjoy the obvious talent displayed on this one.
