Album Notes

Stupid In Stereo are a horror punk/psychobilly band with a fondness for PBR. They have toured extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest and have built up a loyal fan base of punks, psychos, and college kids alike. With a desire to bring ghouls and booze to audiences everywhere, this trio of drinking buddies is ready to bring on the Stupid.

The Stupids started playing during the spring of 2007 when college buddies Ryan "Yotes" Yates and BJ Johnson met David "Shup" Leavitt and started playing punk covers at a weekly open mic night at their favorite watering hole. Their performances quickly changed from cover heavy sets to original music. Together, they have built a repertoire of high-energy songs bridging the gap between traditional horror punk and psychobilly, shaking up this musical concoction with a handful of punk rock drinking songs and pouring it on the rocks.

March of 2008 brought a change for the team when Shup moved out of the state. Ronnie "Half-Rack" Fisher took his place behind the drum kit and added a whole new dimension to the band’s sound with his pounding beats. Since the addition of Mr. Half-Rack, Stupid In Stereo have been hard at work, playing shows throughout the Pacific Northwest, writing new songs, and spending time in the studio. The team has had the pleasure of playing with national and international touring acts such as the Koffin Kats, Schoolyard Heroes, Henchmen, and Frenzy.
