Adam Sturtevant is a young, multi-disciplinary artist living in Brooklyn, New York. He has performed as a drummer around the world with dozens of different artists, including St. Vincent, Via Audio, and Sufjan Stevens. His award-winning short fiction has been published in various literary journals. Adam Sturtevant's Porous Orchestra is a seven-part suite, mixing chamber music with minimalism and jazz, composed and recorded in 2005.

After a long day of work, Porous Orchestra on the couch is a vivid journey one cannot help but travel. It stikes powerful emotional chords I've either forgotten, or have not previously experienced. Truely this work is the opus of communication for which all music strives!
