Album Notes

What draws an audience to an aspiring artist? Depends on individual taste and vision…but for those who want to channel the spirit of Jim Morrison with a trance-aquatic rhythm…a little retro sound…a little dreaminess…a little out of this world – (and that’s just a small description of what Subliminal Erotica – One Mystic View brings through your home entertainment center or workstation), then Jayson’s breakthrough CD is right for you. Like the title depicts, One Mystic View is erotic, mystical, and ambient…with a touch of Pete Townshend.

Some of you may know Subliminal Erotica’s musician as @mystic23 on twitter and blip.fm, but Jayson is a master mixer when it comes to creating magically-soothing sounds for the mind, body, and soul. But be forewarned, even while relaxing, you can’t help but sway to the rhythm of this experimental music. With a voice crossed between Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour and the Doors, Jayson is destined for artistic success.

Welcome Subliminal Erotica into your living room or den, while bathing, relaxing, meditating; during counseling or hypnosis sessions, or while lounging on your deck or hammock. Jayson’s unique ability to blend mystical, cosmic sounds into vibrational harmony is both talent and sheer skill.

Finally. I have been looking for good Pilates music, and this is it! The class enjoyed it too! Also good for relaxing in the sun. Excellent rhythm, uplifting and calming at the same time. How does he do that? Thank you for such unique, avant-garde music. Looking forward for more to come!

Ancient Wisdom

"Ancient Wisdom" may be the catchiest danceable instrumental since Herbie Hancock's "Rockit". I love manatees, too, so it's cool you're giving them a "psychedelic" theme song. In "Fragile Little Line" the singer sounds like a cross between two of my favorites, Leanord Cohen and Lou Reed. I like the western spy vibe of "Sacred Agent". "One More Time" sounds a little like mid 80's Prince mixed with Jan Hammer - pretty cool combo.

I'm especially liking "Psychedelic Manatee" and your vocal "Fragile Little Line" but I'm finding the whole thing to be very addictive. "Sacred Agent" is like a cool futuristic Western movie. "Sing to the Birds" is spacy and cool...kind of like being underwater swimming with the dolphins, and the manatees!
