Album Notes
Subversive is the accomplishment of the common effort of 3 guys involved in the punk/hardcore/metal Montreal scene for more than 10 years. The goal behind the band is to write simple and trashy music with a punk rock ethic, a thing that seems quite lost nowadays.

Subversive was formed in early 2007 in Montreal. After many discussions between Maxime Cayer (drums) and Dominic St-Aubin (vocals + guit), the evidence of their common motivations, both ethical and musical, lead them to start writing music together. Benoit Leblanc (bass), who had already played with Max in the past, joined the band a couple of months later to complete the line-up.

Monarchy, Parliament & Moose, released in 2008 by Amateur Records, is their first EP.
