Album Notes

Hailing from Surrey, SubVibe (Tom Hutchison and Chris Capper) have set out to create dynamic, heavy and sickening beats. Their wide interest in music adds a unique tone to their work and you'll find many different influences.

How did it start?
SubVibe began in the spring term of 2010 when Tom, unfortunately, was trapped in college by the heavy snow that had hit the UK. Being a music student, he spent his time in basements of the music department, and decided to open up Reason. His interest with Reason continued and he created his first song 'Cheesy Bells'. However, unbeknown to Tom, Chris was an adamant listener to dubstep and was willing to push this interest further.

Finally, the duo was formed when a quiet afternoon prompted Tom and Chris to use the studio to create ‘Explosive Laughter’. The connection was instant, tunes and ideas flowed incessantly and the duo went some strength to strength.

What do they sound like?
There style is similar to Datsik, Skrillex and Excision. Creepy melodies, hard-hitting drums and heavy bass-lines, combine together to form a unique sound.
