Suede Brothers

by Suede Brothers

Elements of old blues with large riffs and bombastic drums that date back to the hard charging 70’s. Although their influences reach back to a bygone era, they are not throwbacks to better days.

Album Notes
In Cleveland we have a form of music that we affectionately called Rust-Belt rock and roll. It's less of a genre and more of an attitude. It's rock and roll music that's low on fashion and filler and big on volume. Here in Cleveland, we also have this band that perfectly embodies the sentiments of Rust-Belt rock, The Suede Brothers. Originally a duo that blasted blues based jams out of a barn in Perry, Ohio. Listening to The Suede Brothers, you'll hear elements of old time blues music as well as large riffs and bombastic drums that date back to the hard charging Seventies. Though their influences reach back to a bygone era, they're not throwbacks to better days. The fire and the passion of their Rust Belt Rock and Roll takes their sound right into modern times.

And there they were..
My friends talked us into going out to catch their friends band in Detroit. While we were hanging and drinking, this sound comes from the other room....grabbed my beer and went in to check it out.....and was blown away! You can compare them to whoever you want to, but they are The Suede Brothers and I'll never forget em.....they blew my friends band away BTW. Get this one and then get the new one......Great Pure Rock as it should be. Hooks, Lyrics, and heavy sound.....I was there for a I know what it was.

Suede Brothers
This is some balls to the wall roots blues rock. Their sound is raw and sophisticated, old school and edgy all at the same time. Oh and they're a lot of fun too!

You gotta be kidding me...
...this is some great s##t, for sure. I'm no writer, so my written word is not so good, but as far a great rock music, this is the real deal. These guys gotta be going to the big time, fo sure. Buy it and you won't be sorry. Suede Brothers rock hard. Buy it!!!!!!!!!!

Love it, want more of it!
I had the pleasure of catching the Suede Brothers live at NXNE last June and have been anticipating this CD since then. No gimmicks, no b.s., just unapologetic rock & roll. Absolutely good enough to pay hard earned money for. Love it, want more of it!
